Student Research Assistant
Under the direction of a faculty researcher, Dr. Courtney Yuen, the student research assistant will be responsible for the management, processing, and preliminary analysis of geospatial data for a research study on measuring access to health care. The student will also assist with literature review and production of reports. The student will be expected to use ArcGIS Pro and must have existing access to this software.
The student is expected to attend regular in-person meetings with the faculty member. This position is 20 hours per week.
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
Licenses and Credentials:
Must have access to ArcGIS Pro (either through their school or a personal account) for the duration of the appointment
Experience:
Research data management, literature review, production of reports or scientific research products
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills, strong time management and ability to meet deadlines, interest in geospatial analysis
