In partnership with Northeastern University, Alnylam Pharmaceuticals is offering a two-year Safety and Risk Managementfellowship, based in Cambridge, MA.

Safety and Risk Management (SRM) oversees all activities related tothe detection, assessment, understanding, and prevention of adverse effects or other medicine-related safety concerns to ensure safeuse of medicines and to safeguard health of patients. The fellowcan expect to gain a thorough understanding of pharmacovigilanceactivities and actively participate in the development and maintenance of the drug safety profiles for our revolutionary RNAiplatform.
KeyJob Duties:
- Provide scientific and strategic assistance to Safety Product Leads to support Alnylam products
- Participate in the collection, interpretation, and presentation of safety data in internal forums
- Support signal detection and management activities with Lead Safety Physicians and PV Scientists
- Engage in safety data review, analysis, and reporting of safety data to internal and external stakeholders by planning, managing,and authoring safety aggregate reports (e.g. PBRERs, DSURs)
- Participate in the development and management of Risk Management Plans
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited institution
- Eligible for pharmacist licensure in the State of Massachusetts
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong time management and leadership abilities
- Ability to work independently and take initiative on a variety of projects at both the industry site and Northeastern
