We seek a part-time guard with experience working with prestigious properties to join our operation in Seaport.
Location & ScheduleLocation: Seaport
Shift: Saturday and Sunday 7A - 3P
Start Date: ASAP
Parking: Onsite
Responsibilities- Management of visitors at access control points with courtesy, decisiveness, and professionalism.
- Maintain a consistent professional appearance and demeanor for public-facing staff.
- Validate strict compliance with security standards.
- Engage with affinity participants such as local/state police and DHS as appropriate.
- Uphold high standards of conduct with zero tolerance for non-professional behavior.
- Implement effective and transparent employee discipline procedures.
- Coordinate high-touch interactions between contract employees, client management, and company managers.
- Prepare for effective response to potential crises.
- Provide high-level customer service to clients through daily interactions with students, staff, faculty and visitors.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to react quickly to a changing environment
- Advanced ability to respond to security breaches and threats
- Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to inform personnel and visitors of security procedures
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills
- Flexibility to perform a variety of security duties
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of security systems and surveillance equipment
- CPR, First Aid, AED, NARCAN, MOAB, or ACT I, II, or III certifications highly preferred
- Associates degree or higher in Criminal Justice related studies
- Experience in documenting observations, customer service and security procedures
- Previous concierge experience
