This Per Diem Supervisor will join our Emerson College operation and is required to be flexible across all three shifts. The starting rate is $24 an hour. Candidates should have detailed college operation security experience or prior supervisory experience.

• Management of visitors at access control points with utmost courtesy, decisiveness, and professionalism.
• Consistently maintain a professional appearance and demeanor of public‑facing employees.
• Validate strict compliance with security standards.
• Interaction with affinity participants such as local, state police, and DHS.
• Ensure high standards of conduct and zero tolerance for non‑professional behavior.
• Apply effective and transparent employee discipline procedures.
• High touchpoints between and among contract employees, client management, and company managers.
• Prepare plans for effective response to potential crises.
• Provide high level customer service to clients through daily interaction with students, staff, faculty, and visitors.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to react quickly to a changing environment.
• Advanced ability to respond to security breaches and threats.
• Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Ability to inform personnel and visitors of security procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills.
• Ability to be flexible and perform a variety of security duties.

• Minimum of four years’ experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of security systems and surveillance equipment.
• CPR, First Aid, AED, NARCAN, MOAB, or ACT I, II, or III Certifications highly preferred.
• Associate's degree or greater in Criminal Justice related studies.
• Supervisor experience.
• Experience in documenting observations, customer service, and security procedures.
• Previous concierge experience.
