Position: Executive Protection Specialist I -Boston, MA

Responsibilities

  • Train and perform all tasks and responsibilities of the Executive Specialist I.
  • Provide direction and supervision to Executive Protection Specialists assigned to executive floors or other assignments.
  • Analyze situations and develop detailed security action plans that secure the environment while enabling executives to operate effectively.
  • Take on complex projects and studies to ensure the safety of executives and their surroundings.
  • Manage financial aspects of the program and engage in executive protection analysis to support overall program objectives.
  • Coordinate with top executives, family members, other executives, and strategic partners to develop and advance an appropriate security environment.
  • Control access to executive spaces, ensuring a secure and protected environment for senior management, support staff, and client‑related events.
  • Manage incident response and conduct comprehensive screening of incoming mail and parcels.
  • Develop action plans for transportation services and coordinate closely with local law enforcement and other security agencies.
  • Provide safe and efficient transportation for senior leaders, maintaining a smooth, secure, and discreet travel experience.
  • Monitor traffic patterns, potential risks, and alternative routes to minimize delays and reduce exposure to security threats.
  • Ensure vehicle movements prioritize safety, discretion, and a low profile; regularly inspect vehicles for cleanliness and operational readiness.
  • Maintain continuous situational awareness and implement proactive security measures as needed for executive floors and other assigned locations, including off‑site events.
  • Prevent unauthorized access to secure areas by monitoring and enforcing access control procedures.
  • Effectively monitor internal guests, third‑party visitors, and service providers on all executive floors.
  • Provide emergency resources and real‑time assessments for major events, high‑level meetings, private functions, and business‑related off‑site locations.
  • Occasional travel may be required to support events involving the Management Team.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in physical security, law enforcement, or military security employment.
  • Completion of 2–3 day Protective/Evasive driving training.
  • Completion of basic first aid and AED medical training; maintain related certifications.
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to partner with key stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Experience in assessing risks, vulnerabilities, and threats via surveillance and counter‑surveillance techniques.
  • Proficiency in crisis response, workplace violence, and other emergency events.
  • Proven skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Capability to work 1st shift (Monday–Friday, 6am–2pm) or 2nd shift (Monday–Friday, 1pm–9pm).

Shift & Hours

Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) – Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm or 2nd shift (United States of America) – Monday to Friday, 1pm to 9pm.
Hours per week: 40

Pay & Benefits

Pay range: $44.23 – $52.24 per hour, determined based on experience, education, and skill set. This role is compensated with a base salary and is not incentive eligible. The role is currently benefits eligible. Benefits include industry‑leading compensation, paid time off, and resources to support employees’ physical, emotional, and financial well‑being.
