Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities;
Respond to incidents, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site protocols;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout academic buildings, common areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions;
Monitor entry and exit points, check credentials when required, and assist with directing visitors and campus community members according to location guidelines;
Support a professional learning environment by communicating clearly with campus personnel and/or first responders regarding security-related concerns, disturbances, or maintenance issues observed during patrols
