Allied Universal Security Services is seeking to fill the position of a Security Flex Officer in Boston, MA.

• Part‑time flex hours Monday‑Friday, including weekends.
• Weekly pay starting rate $21.20 per hour with paid orientation.
• Position type:
  Full time.
• Pay rate: $21.20 per hour.
• Job schedule:
  
  Daytime shift 07:00 AM‑03:00 PM from Monday through Friday.
• Candidate must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ideal candidate would possess a valid driver's license for more than one year.

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities across the campus location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly, document relevant details, and communicate with campus contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, or conditions requiring attention.
• Monitor access points, observe campus activity to support authorized entry, provide directions, and report suspicious behavior, policy concerns, or maintenance‑related issues.
• Support daily operations during classes, events, and after‑hours periods by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with routine inquiries, and following post orders and Allied Universal protocols.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Conditional employment: subject to background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license required only for driving positions.
