Allied Universal is currently hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a State Site in Boston, MA.

Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

Starting Pay: $21.35 per hour. Paid Orientation, Paid Training, Daily Pay available.

• Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or conditions requiring attention.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with location protocols, reporting concerns and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Support daily operations by completing required reports, maintaining a visible presence, and following Allied Universal standards along with site-specific directives.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
