PT Security Officer, Weekends evenings; Team

Positions are available based on applicant eligibility, availability, background screening, drug testing and completion of orientation. Weekend Security Officers are required for Boston and Cambridge, MA. Shift schedule:
Sat‑Sun first shift 7:00am‑3:00pm;
Sat‑Sun second shift 3:00pm‑11:00pm. Positions are part‑time.

• Patrol and monitor multiple premises to detect irregularities, including suspicious behavior or security breaches.
• Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity.
• Communicate with local law enforcement units and fire departments as necessary.
• Conduct foot patrols of the premises, including interior, exterior and parking garage patrols.
• Write detailed reports on incidents that occurred on the premises daily.
• Maintain proper use, completion and submission of all forms associated with patrol activities and duties.
• Respond to incidents concerning security and safety.
• Conduct unarmed foot patrols.
• Respond to requests for assistance and evaluate appropriate courses of action.
• Comply with all requirements/directives within the on‑site operations manual and post orders.
• Assume other duties as required by the client or Northeast Security, Inc.

• Security experience required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Previous customer service experience or related field/education.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Dependable means of transportation.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to solve conflict/problem solve.
• Strong professionalism and ability to show responsibility and friendliness towards clients and residents.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to successfully pass all pre‑employment background and drug screenings.
• Neat and professional appearance.
• Ability to multi‑task and self‑manage in a dynamic environment.

$22.15 – $26 per hour, depending on location and experience.
