As a Security Officer Experienced Armed Patrol in Boston, MA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Tue 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM, Wed 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM, Thur 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM, Fri 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, and/or disturbances on the property.
  • Support cash handling and other sensitive operational areas through visible presence, attentive observation, and timely reporting of security-related concerns, hazards, and/or maintenance issues.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
