Police Officer

We are seeking dedicated and responsible individuals to join our department as Police Officers. This role involves maintaining public safety, enforcing laws, and building trust within the community. Officers will respond to emergencies, conduct investigations, and perform proactive patrol duties to prevent and address crime.

• Patrol assigned areas by vehicle or on foot to ensure safety and deter criminal activity
• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for service
• Enforce laws and ordinances; issue citations or make arrests when appropriate
• Conduct preliminary investigations of crimes, accidents, and incidents
• Prepare accurate and detailed reports and maintain required records
• Testify in court proceedings when necessary
• Engage with community members to foster positive relationships and provide assistance
• Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold department standards of conduct

• High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework or degree preferred)
• Completion of a recognized police academy training program (or ability to complete one)
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and exercise sound judgment under pressure
• Physical fitness sufficient to meet job requirements
• Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Work Environment

Police Officers may work indoors or outdoors in all weather conditions. The role may involve physically demanding activities, high-stress situations, and potential exposure to hazards.
