Allied Universal is currently hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a Restaurant in Boston, MA.
ScheduleSun 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Option for More Shifts).
Pay & BenefitsPay Rate: $19.00 per hour. Paid orientation and training.
How This Role Works- Fixed-Shift Commitment ( Anchor Shifts ): Hired for a designated site and weekly shift serving as reliable base schedule. Requires a six (6) month commitment.
- Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: Pick‑up extra shifts through scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns to site leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, noting unusual activity and/or maintenance‑related issues.
- Monitor for theft‑related behavior, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access to deter loss and support a professional environment for guests and employees.
- Assist with crowd management, closing procedures, and/or after‑hours checks as directed, maintaining visible presence and following Allied Universal standards.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years or older for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
