Schedule: Saturday – Tuesday 11:00 pm – 7:00 am (Full‑Time)

Harvard Protection Services is a leading provider of high‑quality security services. As a Security Officer – Concierge, you will deliver professional customer‑focused security and life safety services to protect people and property.

Support Harvard Protection in providing best‑in‑class security and life‑safety services. Your duties include engaging customers, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring activities, and ensuring adherence to facility policies.

• Maintain a professional demeanor while aiding customers, employees, visitors, and guests.
• Present a visible presence in the assigned facility/building.
• Monitor the environment to detect suspicious or unsafe activity.
• Familiarize yourself with incoming/outgoing traffic and know customers, tenants, visitors, and guests.
• Greet customers, visitors, staff, tenants, and guests in a professional manner.
• Answer all phones professionally.
• Permit authorized persons to enter the property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Know facility policies and enforce them within your position limits.
• Perform required patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure authorized removal of property follows customer requirements.
• Follow established emergency action planning and procedures.
• Monitor alarms and systems.
• Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities as directed.

Essential duties and responsibilities may differ by customer location assigned.

• State or municipality‑mandated security officer license.
• Minimum High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Current security guard license or ability to obtain one within an acceptable period.
• Reliable communication device and transportation.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and a neat, professional appearance.
• Ability to write routine correspondence, log entries, and incident reports.
• Prior contract security, law‑enforcement, military, or customer‑service experience is helpful.

Hourly rate: $24.00 /hr. Benefits include health, welfare, dental, vision, sick leave, vacation, and 401(k) enrollment opportunities.
