As a Security Officer Reception Security in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a professional healthcare location where you will serve at the front desk, greeting visitors, managing access, and supporting security-related operations through clear communication and attentive presence. In this highly visible role, you will help to deter incidents while delivering outstanding customer service.

Full Time Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour Job Schedule
- Mon 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
- Tue 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
- Wed 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
- Thu 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
- Fri 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
- Monitor access at the front desk by verifying visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, issuing badges, and communicating entry procedures in alignment with site policies.
- Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Support daily front desk operations by answering phones, directing guests to the proper department, observing lobby activity, and documenting security-related incidents and/or unusual activity.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Must be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
