This is a full-time, on-site Armed Security Officer role based in Boston, MA. The Armed Security Officer will provide protective services, including monitoring access control points, patrolling assigned areas, and maintaining a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activity and potential threats. Responsibilities include enforcing site security policies, responding to alarms and incidents, completing detailed incident and activity reports, and coordinating with local law enforcement or emergency responders when needed.

The role also involves conducting security checks of facilities, screening visitors and vehicles, verifying credentials, and safeguarding personnel and property in accordance with company standards and applicable regulations. Armed Security Officers are expected to maintain a high level of situational awareness, follow established post orders, and participate in recurring training to uphold safety and performance requirements.

• Strong security and protective services capabilities, including situational awareness, threat assessment, and incident response skills.
• Knowledge of access control, perimeter security, and patrol procedures, with the ability to enforce site policies and safety protocols.
• Effective communication and report-writing skills, including clear documentation of incidents and coordination with clients and public safety agencies.
• Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and integrity, with the ability to work in high-pressure environments and maintain composure.
• Valid Massachusetts LTC (or ability to obtain, as required by Massachusetts law) and eligibility to carry a firearm in accordance with company and legal standards.
• Prior experience in security, military, or law enforcement.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications in security, criminal justice, or related fields are beneficial.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Clean background check and ability to meet all Triple Canopy and client-specific vetting and clearance requirements
