Minimum Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent experience required; additional education in criminal justice preferred.
- 1-3 years of security experience preferred.
- Valid Driver’s license in state of residence required.
- Ability to pass background checks and obtain necessary certifications (training provided).
- Preferably licensed as a Special State Police Officer under Massachusetts General Laws.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong risk analysis and organizational abilities.
- Flexible, reliable, and able to handle diverse situations.
- Proficient in preparing clear reports and using office equipment.
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in multiple languages preferred.
- Patrol buildings and grounds to identify and address potential security risks.
- Provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, encouraging a culture of safety awareness.
- Respond to emergencies and conduct investigations as needed.
- Assist with patient restraints, property accountability, and other security-related tasks.
- Perform additional duties such as escorts and special assignments.
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk for extended periods, and respond to emergencies.
- Must successfully complete functional assessments within the first 90 days and annually thereafter.
