As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Driver in Boston, MA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license and offers an opportunity to demonstrate integrity, reliability, teamwork, and a caring, people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a financial institution.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, surrounding property, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and follow established procedures for visitor screening, employee access, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, site policies, and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
