Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a State Site in Boston MA

Friday, Saturday and Sunday 11PM - 7 AM

Starting Pay is $25.88 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Related Experience

This armed post requires a concealed carry weapons permit and offers the chance to deliver outstanding service through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $25.88 / Hour

• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or public agency contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of roadways, buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized entry or prohibited activity in accordance with post orders and applicable regulations.
• Maintain readiness to perform armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards, site policies, and applicable laws while using sound judgment during routine operations and emergency situations.

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
