** Boston, MA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol retail and financial institution locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to concerns, support a welcoming customer experience, and communicate clearly with visitors and team members.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients, employees, shoppers, visitors, and financial institution customers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of retail sales areas, banking locations, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and provide directions or assistance to guests while maintaining a professional presence.

+ Document incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
