Pay: $56.61 / hour
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program.

Position Summary:
Performs preventive maintenance on all base building and critical HVAC system equipment which includes but not limited to: assembling all tools, performing work with a minimum amount disruption, conducting immediate clean‑up of work area, completing the preventive task sheet, returning tools to workshop, and unused supplies to store room, reporting any equipment problems, impending supply or material shortages to Operations Manager and/or Plant Manager.
Responsibilities- Perform HVAC preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance
- Conduct daily rounds and inspections of all mechanical spaces
- Execute HVAC activities as directed by the Operations Manager and/or Plant Manager
- Assist with coordination and scheduled shut‑downs as required to support any associated on‑site operational requirements
- Perform extensive troubleshooting of all HVAC and associated equipment
- Review specifications and system design and drawings
- Maintain strict adherence to ABM Industries; safety rules and regulations
- Maintaining and repairing air handling units, exhaust fans, fan coil units, reheat coils, and other associated mechanical equipment
- Develop initial recommendations to Operations Manager and/or Plant Manager for any maintenance changes, upgrades, replacements, etc.
- Maintain up to date and complete system documentation in CMMS for all repairs or changes to the system.
- Maintains tools and orders supplies as required for installation and repairs.
- Works from wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, sketches, prints, operating manuals, and other written materials, and/or verbal and direction.
- Notifies supervision when major and extensive repairs or modifications are necessary.
- Performs general maintenance and daily housekeeping of workplace, tools, and equipment.
- Maintains records, moves materials, and follows safety rules in performance of duties.
- Valid MA Refrigeration License Required
- EPA 608 Universal Certification
- High School diploma
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and local codes.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Email, CMMS and BAS systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
