Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Residential Service Electrician to perform residential electrical service work. This role involves providing estimates to customers, invoicing, collecting payments, and assisting with high-ticket sales calls. The electrician will manage the service van and perform troubleshooting, wiring, installations, and repairs. This role will require a journeyman license and it will be a service position where you’re on the road going into clients homes.

This position pays $80,000 salary plus 20% commission on all services that are done.

• Perform residential electrical service work.
• Provide estimates to customers when on job sites.
• Invoice and collect payments from customers.
• Assist sales teams with high-ticket sales calls as needed.
• Manage and maintain the service van.

• Journeyman Electrician License.
• 5 years of residential electrical experience.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, wiring, installation, and repair.
• Experience with conduit bending and working with blueprints and switch gear.

• OSHA 10 certification is a nice-to-have and can be obtained through company-provided training.
• Customer service skills.
• Ability to identify electrical issues.
• Proficiency in using an iPad on-site.
• Ability to estimate fixture requirements.

This is a Permanent position based out of Boston, MA.

The pay range for this position is $80,000.00 - $/yr.

Company provided service van. Uncapped commission. Upward mobility within the company.

This is a fully onsite position in Boston, MA.
