Position Description

Immediate Hiring:
Permanent Full-Time Experienced Mid-Level Diesel Technician


Support our Truck Fleet in South Boston, Massachusetts!

Hourly Pay: $32.43 per hour

Quarterly Bonus: Earn up to $500 Every Quarter - Four Times Per Year

Tool Box/Tool Allowance Provided

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Weekends OFF

Shift Hours: Second Shift, 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational/Technical Certification or Post-secondary degree, preferred
  • Basic tools required
  • At least 2 years of experience or a combination of classroom training and practical experience in automotive gas or diesel engines
  • Valid CDL Class A preferred (must be obtained within 6 months of hire)
  • Ability to pass drug tests, DOT physical, road test, background check, and motor vehicle check
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, brakes, and tire work
  • Diagnose and repair basic mechanical and electronic issues
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment as needed
  • Conduct facility and equipment maintenance
  • Interact with drivers/customers to identify and resolve mechanical issues
  • Follow all safety, DOT, and company compliance guidelines
  • Support operations as required, including Service Island duties
