Seasoned Commercial HVAC Installation Mechanic
We are seeking an experienced, can‑do installer with strong problem‑solving skills and a high level of customer service to join our fast‑growing team.
Job Responsibilities- Independently install equipment and ductwork
- Complete daily paperwork and accurately record materials used on each job
- Coordinate with general contractors and other trades on installing equipment and duct work
- Layout roof curbs and fabricate duct fittings
- Read blueprints, lay out duct, and create material lists from blueprints
- Perform all jobs with safety first in mind
- Continual learning and development through First Call Academy to maintain industry skill level
- Provide elite level of customer service to ensure we remain the first call for HVAC needs
- 3+ years of experience as an installation mechanic
- Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
- Experience with stick welding and TIG welding
- Visual acuity sufficient to read instructions, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate or learn to operate all necessary tools and equipment
- Availability to work flexible hours and on‑call shifts as needed
- Ability to frequently lift 75 pounds and regularly lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Physical ability to work in awkward places, from ladders or scaffolding, and endure high and low outside temperatures
