Location

Cambridge, MA (single-site support). This role is commutable from Arlington, Somerville, Waltham, Newton, Medford, and surrounding Metro Boston communities.

Responsibilities
  • Execute digitalization and standard service operations strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal service team members, including Service Sales, Client Service Managers, Service Coordinators, and RAM Digital Service Center personnel.
  • Adhere to safety requirements and complete all required training.
  • Follow mandatory policies, procedures, and standards; coordinate with contractors on job sites; maintain tools and test equipment.
  • Support after‑hours on‑call rotation and respond to service calls (emergency and on‑site) as assigned.
  • Perform repairs and troubleshooting on all automation system types.
  • Complete service ticket documentation and maintain preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Generate service reports within Siemens tools.
  • Provide instructions to customer personnel regarding proper system operations and assist with training.
  • Identify and report system discrepancies, suggest upgrade opportunities, aid in pricing repairs and upgrades, and perform system checkout and startup on projects.
  • Work overtime when needed and participate in job‑site final walk‑downs or system‑to‑service turnover.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
  • 1+ years (Level I) or 3+ years (Level II) experience servicing electronic control or HVAC equipment.
  • Electro‑mechanical experience and user PC/software skills.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a variety of conditions, including ladders, scaffolds, high lifts, ducts, crawl spaces, roofs, basements, and ceilings.
  • Ability to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet, and to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Willingness to work overtime when needed.
  • Minimum age 18 with a valid driver’s license and limited violations; eligibility to participate in Siemens fleet vehicle program.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continuous, permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or state‑recognized GED.
  • Experience installing and servicing electronic control or HVAC equipment.
  • Knowledge of building automation systems, PLCs, HVAC, electrical concepts, and building operations.
  • Engineering and programming (PLC or BMS) background.
  • Knowledge of building system communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP).
Benefits

Siemens offers a comprehensive health and wellness benefits package. Pay range for this position is $58,976 – $117,259 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
