HVAC Service Technician

We are presently looking for an experienced HVAC Technician in our Vermont region, with proven experience installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and cooling units for commercial customers.

• Install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for commercial customers. Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical and electrical components of these systems.
• Travel to job sites in service area and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer.
• Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in vehicle.
• Document all installed equipment upon arrival: make, model, serial number, type of fuel, necessary test measurements, and pictures as necessary.
• Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturer’s recommendations.
• Work independently in a timely manner, ensuring the job is done correctly the first time.
• Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills.
• Observe all company procedures and safety rules.
• Work as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic computer skills, able to utilize mobile device throughout the work day.
• Travel to sites in excess of 100 miles may be required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under company policy.

• Two to five years’ experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC service issues.
• High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree.
• EPA Certified (EPA Universal preferred).
• HVAC Journeyman, E02, and EPA Universal preferred.
• Microsoft Office experience (Word and Excel).
• Valid driver’s license.

• Regularly lift up to 51 pounds; push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items with additional manpower or devices; climb ladders, work from heights, work in small crawl spaces, balance, stoop, kneel.
• Expected to work in all weather conditions, both extreme cold and heat.
• May drive for extended periods of time, including all weather and light conditions.
