As a Residential HVAC Installer at N.E.T.R, Inc., you will play a vital role in our mission to provide superior HVAC installations for our residential customers. Working in a crew of two, alongside an Install Apprentice, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently installing HVAC systems while upholding the highest standards of craftsmanship and customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Installing HVAC related equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications.
  • Designing, fabricating and installing various ducts and duct fittings as required.
  • Receiving, verifying, and loading all equipment and materials needed for each job.
  • Demonstrating and establishing effective working relationships with co-workers and superiors.
  • Properly completing all paperwork required for each job.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of assigned company vehicle.
  • Maintaining high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
Residential HVAC Installer Success Metrics
  • Customer Satisfaction: Maintain customer satisfaction rate through post-service surveys and feedback. Strive to exceed customer expectations and resolve any concerns promptly.
  • Installation Quality: Maintain a consistently high level of installation quality, as evaluated through post-installation inspections and customer feedback.
  • Efficiency and Productivity: Complete HVAC installations within the established time frames, meeting or exceeding the company's productivity standards.
  • First-Time Installation Success: Achieve a first-time installation success rate as established by the Installation Manager, ensuring minimal revisits or callbacks due to installation-related issues.
  • Technical Proficiency: Continuously update and enhance technical skills, staying informed about the latest installation techniques, manufacturer guidelines, and industry best practices.
  • Safety Adherence: Maintain a perfect safety record, strictly adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines. Ensure zero safety incidents or accidents within the performance period.
  • Mentorship and Guidance: Provide effective mentorship and guidance to the Install Apprentice, contributing to their skill development and ensuring a positive learning experience.
  • Professionalism, Appearance, and Customer Communication: Demonstrate excellent communication skills when interacting with customers during installations. Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor while representing N.E.T.R, Inc. during installations, earning high marks for professionalism from customers.
  • Accuracy of Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete documentation of installation details, equipment used, and any modifications in the company's systems, such as Service Titan.

    Collaboration:

    Work collaboratively with the Install Apprentice and other team members, fostering a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork.
  • Continual Improvement: Actively participate in performance reviews and self-assessments, identifying areas for personal improvement and setting development goals to enhance overall job performance. Pursue additional certifications and training opportunities to expand expertise and proficiency in installing various brands of HVAC equipment.
  • Installer and Apprentice Development: Monitor and track the progress of the Install Apprentice, providing regular feedback and opportunities for growth and skill advancement.
  • Timeliness and Punctuality: Maintain a consistent record of punctuality and attendance, arriving at installation sites and appointments on time.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Compensation

$20 - $45 an hour
