Job Title

Security Installation Specialist – Worldwide Leader in Smart Buildings and Automation Technology

$40 - $52 per hour

Work on large-scale projects across hospitals, data centers, universities, and industrial facilities, installing and supporting advanced security systems. You will lead installations, support commissioning, and train junior specialists.

• Deliver best-in-class installations of integrated electronic security systems—CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, alarm sensors, and associated software platforms.
• Perform system programming, testing, and final commissioning activities.
• Provide on-site mentorship and training to junior specialists.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure seamless execution from install to handoff.
• Conduct walkthroughs, punch lists, and customer acceptance testing.
• Identify installation deficiencies and recommend improvements to elevate quality and compliance.

• 1+ years (mid‑level) or 3+ years (senior‑level) of hands‑on experience with security system installs (Genetec, Avigilon, CCURE, Milestone, Axis, etc.).
• Understanding of network infrastructure—IP addressing, routers/switches/firewalls, and video bandwidth considerations.
• Ability to work at heights, lift 50 lbs unassisted, and navigate construction and retrofit environments.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and eligibility for fleet program.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently without sponsorship.

• 5+ years in complex security installations.
• Massachusetts Class D Electrical License.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and construction documents.
