Pest Control Technician

Waltham Pest Services is looking for a Technician with a salary range of $43,000 – $58,000 plus unlimited commission opportunities. • Apply knowledge learned and retained through training to help residential and commercial customers with their pest control issues.
• Inspect attics, crawlspaces, and the interiors and exteriors of homes or businesses in our area.
• Identify and recognize opportunities to sell additional services or equipment.
• Recommend treatment and prevention methods for pest problems to clients.
• Consult with sales reps and leaders to provide estimates for maintenance service requirements or costs.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).
• Ability to work independently in the field, manage route‑based assignments, and interact with customers inside their businesses and/or homes.
• Consideration for all qualified applicants in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Wear personal protective equipment, including possible OSHA‑compliant respirator.
• Willing to work in varying weather conditions.
