Overview
Transdev in Boston, MA is seeking experienced Mechanics to bolster our team. This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a fleet of diesel, propane, and electric engine school buses. As a Mechanic, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our vehicles.
Benefits- Position subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement: $28.66 (minimum) – $39.78 (maximum) per hour.
- Vacation:
Up to 20 paid days based on years of service. - Personal Time Off (PTO):
Up to 15 days annually. - Sick days: 5 days.

- Guaranteed 4 hours overtime per weekday.

- Conduct diagnostic tests using advanced tools and software to troubleshoot diesel, propane, and electric engine issues.
- Perform moderate complexity repairs and replacements on diesel, propane, and electric engine components, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Assist A‑Level Mechanics in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks, contributing to efficient workflow.
- Execute routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize diesel engine performance.
- Lead diagnostic tests to accurately identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategies for diesel, propane, and electric engines.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on diesel, propane, and electric engines, including overhauling and rebuilding components to required specifications.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, assisting them in developing their skills
