Key Responsibilities
- Apply your HVAC expertise while expanding your technical knowledge of pool heat pump systems through comprehensive field training.
- Provide high quality support to our dealer network and end users to uphold the strong reputation of the Aqua Cal Service Department.
- Collaborate with supervisors to ensure adherence to company standards and service excellence
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, documenting all relevant information accurately to support efficient completion of field service calls.
- During the off-season (October - April), growth opportunities as a trainer are available and you may be scheduled, with advance notice, for 2-3 weeks of regional service support in Florida, and also provide technical assistance via phone and email to dealers.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Other Requirements
- HVAC Technical School AND 3+ years of field service-related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient at brazing and soldering using 15%, 45% brazing and 8% soft solder.
- Clean driver's license and background
- Current Refrigerant Handling Certification
- Physical Requirements:
- Kneel for extended periods of time
- Twist and bend at the hips
- Lift up to 100 lbs
- Withstand hot and humid weather conditions for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to maintain core strength to grab service supplies and materials from the service vehicle multiple times daily
- Must be able to lift and remove themselves regularly from the driver's side of a cargo van.
