General Laborer
Aerotek is hiring immediately! This role serves as a general laborer within a large construction materials operation, responsible for safely handling, sorting, and processing concrete materials. You will support daily production activities by intaking concrete products, separating materials, and performing hands-on mechanical and field service tasks during an early morning shift. This position is full time offering competitive pay and benefits!
Responsibilities- Intake concrete materials and ensure they move efficiently through the processing area.
- Sort and separate concrete products according to type, size, or specification.
- Perform general labor tasks to support construction material operations, including loading, unloading, and organizing materials.
- Use power tools and basic mechanical tools safely to assist with field service and maintenance tasks.
- Consistently arrive on time and complete the full 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM shift, Monday through Friday.
- Proven ability to perform general labor duties in a construction or similar industrial environment.
- Experience working with concrete materials and concrete products.
- Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Familiarity with using power tools and basic mechanical tools safely.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for basic mechanical or process issues.
- Reliable transportation to consistently arrive on time for early morning shifts.

- Ability to follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and willingness to assist across different tasks as needed.

WorkEnvironment
This position is based in a construction materials facility that operates in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. You will work a 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM shift, Monday through Friday. The role involves frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, handling concrete materials, and working around industrial equipment and power tools. The setting may include exposure to outdoor weather conditions, dust, noise, and varying temperatures typical of construction and material processing sites.
Appropriate work attire and personal protective equipment are required to ensure safety while performing daily tasks.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boston, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
