Maintenance Technician
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our hotel team in Back Bay. This role is responsible for keeping the property in good working order through preventative maintenance, repairs, and responding to guest and staff requests.
Responsibilities- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance throughout the property.
- Respond to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building issues.
- Complete light carpentry repairs, including doors, locks, trim, and furniture.
- Assist with room turns, renovations, and special projects as needed.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of supplies and parts.
- Conduct safety checks and help ensure compliance with hotel and OSHA standards.
- Keep maintenance work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Report major repairs, equipment failures, or safety concerns to management.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Additional trade school, technical training, certifications, or college coursework is preferred.
- 5+ years of maintenance, facilities, building operations, hotel maintenance, or related experience.
- Stable work history with increasing responsibility or long-term tenure in previous roles.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
- Experience managing multiple work orders, projects, and priorities at the same time.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to take ownership of issues from start to finish.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and perform physical maintenance work.

This is a Permanent position based out of Boston, MA.
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
