Expected Hiring Range Maximum: $37.00

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison. The above hiring range represents the University s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Responsibilities
  • Maintains the appearance and conditions of lawns, plants, shrubs, trees, and irrigation systems.
  • Removes snow.
Qualifications
  • 3 years of professional/commercial landscape construction experience.
  • 3 years of professional/commercial lawn maintenance experience.
  • 3 years of professional/commercial irrigation experience, installing and troubleshooting.
  • 3 years of professional/commercial snow removal experience including snow removal equipment (e.g., plows, snow blowers).
  • Must have and maintain a valid Massachusetts driver s license.
  • Must have and maintain a Mass Hoisting License, minimum 2B.
  • Knowledge of planting, trimming and pruning using hand or power equipment.
  • Operate heavy equipment and maintenance equipment, e.g., mowers, chainsaws.
  • Ability to lift heavy items up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work outdoors continuously.
  • Ability to speak, read, understand and write fluently in the English language.
  • Required to drive throughout the university to work areas by use of university vehicles.
  • Knowledge of basic safety procedures.
