As a Journeyman Electrician, you'll be a hands‑on, trusted member of our field crew — executing residential electrical work in the greater Boston area to the highest standard, with the judgment to work independently and the reliability to be counted on every day.
What You'll Do- Install, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems — wiring, panels, fixtures, and devices — in new construction and remodel settings.
- Read and work from blueprints, schematics, and job specs to execute layouts accurately.
- Ensure every job meets NEC and Massachusetts electrical code, and stands up to inspection the first time.
- Keep your truck stocked and organized, and communicate material needs before they become a delay.
- Coordinate directly with the owner, clients, and other trades on‑site to keep jobs moving on schedule.
- Maintain clean, accurate daily logs and job documentation.
- Active Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician license, in good standing.
- Solid working knowledge of the NEC and Massachusetts electrical code.
- Comfortable reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Able to pass a CORI (background) check.
- Able to work on ladders, be on your feet all day, and periodically lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and computer knowledge for job documentation and communication.
- Experience with both new construction and remodel/service work.
- Own hand tools.
- Experience training or working alongside apprentices.
