We are seeking a skilled and reliable LED Video Technician to install, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain LED video wall systems for live events, concerts, corporate events, trade shows, and permanent installations. The ideal candidate has experience with LED display technology, video processing equipment, signal distribution, and live event production.
We are seeking a skilled and reliable LED Video Technician to install, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain LED video wall systems for live events, concerts, corporate events, trade shows, and permanent installations. The ideal candidate has experience with LED display technology, video processing equipment, signal distribution, and live event production.
Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, and dismantle LED video wall systems.
- Assemble LED panels according to manufacturer specifications.
- Configure and operate video processors, switchers, and media servers.
- Test and calibrate LED displays to ensure optimal image quality.
- Troubleshoot video, signal, and hardware issues before and during events.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on LED panels, receiving cards, power supplies, and data cables.
- Work with production teams to ensure successful event execution.
- Manage video signal routing using HDMI, SDI, DVI, Display Port, and fiber systems.
- Ensure all equipment is safely handled, transported, and stored.
- Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices.
- Maintain accurate inventory and equipment documentation.
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical education preferred).
- Experience with LED display systems in live events or AV production.
- Knowledge of video processors (Nova Star, Brompton, Colorlight, or similar).
- Understanding of video signal formats and networking basics.
- Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work at heights when required.
- Valid driver s license is preferred.
- Experience with NovaLCT, SmartLCT, Brompton Tessera, or similar LED software.
- Familiarity with live production equipment and video switching systems.
- Knowledge of networking and fiber optic systems.
- Experience with touring productions and corporate events.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Indoor and outdoor event environments.
- Frequent travel may be required.
- Long hours during event setup, operation, and teardown.
- Physical work involving lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
