Target Wage: $34

Shift: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM (Friday/Saturday OFF)
What your day looks like

You clock in at 11:00 AM and get right to work ensuring tugs, belt loaders, pushbacks, trucks, and other airline ground assets are mission-ready. You’ll top off fluids, diagnose issues, and execute advanced mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs—keeping the operation moving safely and on time.

What you’ll handle

Fueling and topping off water, oil, hydraulic fluid, and compressed air Documenting equipment IDs and detailing required work for each unit Advanced inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, replacement, repair, or modification of:

Engines and transmissions

Electrical systems

Brakes and braking systems

Hydraulic and pneumatic systems for mobile lifts and conveyors

Body and bumper repairs

Bag cart curtains and curtain rods Towing hitches and tow bars Undercarriages, wheels, and tires

Bushings, shafts, end plates, springs, coils, armatures, push rods, valves, manifolds, tubing, hoses, and wiring

Following OEM procedures, industry standards, and safety regulations to diagnose, troubleshoot, and correct mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults

Removing, testing, repairing, or replacing carburetors, governors, air/oil cleaners, ignition points, and sensors

Measuring and adjusting tolerances for valves, bearings, cams, clutches, and drive shafts

Using test equipment and manuals to pinpoint issues

Operating and test-running equipment to verify performance

Completing paperwork accurately and tracking parts usage

Following all safety procedures and modeling Prime Flight safety and service standards

Pitching in with additional tasks as assigned

What you bring
18 years of age or older3 years of verifiable experience maintaining and repairing vehicles or GSEPersonal hand tools and toolbox

Reliable, consistent attendance

Valid driver’s license

English proficiency (read, write, speak)
Ability to access and interpret technical information in print and electronically using iPads/Tablets, computers, and mobile devices

Comfort communicating with teammates and clients in person and via electronic channels

Airlines run 24/7—flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Legal:
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.

Pre-employment and credentials
- Pass a background check and drug screen

Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable).Physical demands and environment

Lift up to 70 pounds

Extended standing and walking in indoor/outdoor conditions

Reach with arms; grasp with hands

Push and pull Crawl and crouch, including in confined spaces

Bend, stretch, squat, and kneel

Climb and work at elevated heights

Exposure to moderate and occasionally high noise

Potential exposure to biohazards and chemicals

Work in outdoor elements

Hear and respond to spoken voice and audible alarms
