Job Description Summary
Mechanic – responsible for preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on equipment such as Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas equipment.
Responsibilities- Build skills by working on a variety of makes, models, and equipment.
- Develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management.
- Work with an incredible team of people in a safety-focused environment.
- Perform preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on equipment to avoid downtime.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed and record work performed.
- High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
- 5+ years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy equipment, or specialty lines equipment (large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil & gas).
- Strong preference for candidates who have previous experience on similar equipment.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to use mechanic’s tools of the trade.
- Flexibility with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more; work may be indoors or outdoors.
Hourly Wage$39.61 – $41.61 per hour, depending on the agreed rate under the local collective bargaining agreement.
