Sila Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electric is seeking a Refrigeration Service Technician to install, diagnose, and repair residential and light commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems. You'll perform maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and handle refrigerants safely while delivering courteous, professional service in customers' homes. We offer structured training, support for certifications, modern tools, and clear paths for advancement, all in a safety-first, team-oriented culture focused on reliability and customer comfort.

Responsibilities

  • Install, diagnose, and repair residential and light commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance, safety checks, and system performance testing
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues using appropriate tools and meters
  • Charge, recover, and handle refrigerants in compliance with EPA and company standards
  • Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations in service software
  • Educate customers on system operation, energy efficiency, and maintenance options
  • Collaborate with dispatch and team members to meet response-time and quality targets
  • Follow all safety policies, PPE requirements, and local codes while working in customer homes
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with equipment, codes, and best practices
  • Share on-call rotation to support 24/7 emergency service as needed
