Sila Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electric seeks a Residential HVAC Technician to install, diagnose, and repair heating and cooling systems in customers' homes. You'll perform inspections, tune-ups, and energy-efficiency upgrades while following strict safety and code standards. Work directly with homeowners, explain findings and options, and deliver courteous, clean service. Sila offers structured training, certifications, modern tools, and clear paths for advancement, in a collaborative, safety-first culture focused on customer comfort and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and system tune-ups to improve comfort and energy efficiency
- Conduct safety checks, including electrical and gas inspections, per company and code standards
- Communicate clearly with homeowners about findings, options, pricing, and maintenance recommendations
- Document work performed, parts used, and system readings using company software tools
- Follow all safety protocols and protect customer homes with clean, professional work practices
- Collaborate with dispatch, warehouse, and other technicians to ensure timely, high-quality service
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current on new HVAC technologies and best practices
- Support on-call or emergency service rotations as needed to provide 24/7 coverage
