Snow Equipment Operator

Donovan Property Service is seeking dedicated Snow Equipment Operators for the upcoming winter season in [REGION/SERVICE AREA]. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in keeping customer properties safe and accessible during winter storms by operating plow trucks, loaders, skid steers, and tractors. This is a seasonal, on-call position that offers the opportunity to work with a supportive crew, utilize modern digital tracking tools, and take on leadership responsibilities.

• Operate plow trucks, front wheel loaders, skid steers, and/or tractors to clear snow and ice from assigned customer sites
• Safely tow trailers and load/unload equipment between job sites
• Log work performed at each site using designated digital tools (including photos, timestamps, and notes)
• Lead and direct a small crew of shovelers to ensure walkways, entrances, and other areas are cleared to company standards
• Conduct final site checks to ensure properties are safe and clean before leaving
• Perform pre- and post-shift equipment checks, including verifying fluid levels and general mechanical condition
• Identify and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Work efficiently and safely in cold, snowy, and low-visibility conditions
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch and supervisors throughout each shift

• Valid driver's license required
• CDL Class A or B preferred
• Experience operating plow trucks, front wheel loaders, skid steers, or tractors
• Experience safely towing trailers and loading/securing heavy equipment preferred
• Comfortable performing basic equipment checks (fluids, mechanical condition, safe operation)
• Mechanical experience or background is a plus
• Comfortable learning and using mobile apps or digital tools to log work on-site
• Ability to lead and direct a small crew with attention to detail on site cleanliness and safety
• Physically able to work outdoors in cold, snowy, and low-visibility conditions for extended periods
• Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Reliable transportation to [region/depot address] required
• Willingness to work unpredictable, on-call hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by weather conditions
