As a Service Trainer on our Learning & Development team, you will coach and inspire new and current team members to provide exceptional guest experiences and consistent moments of magic. You will conduct classroom training or in-the-moment coaching on a weekly basis, emphasizing Asbury’s North Star & Compass and DRIVE values and training dealership service team members to be more effective in their roles.
Duties/Responsibilities- Facilitate classroom training to all new and current team members on Asbury’s Guest-Centric Experience
- Facilitate classroom training to all new and current Service team members specific to their roles
- Schedule classroom trainings using Asbury-produced training materials
- Prepare all necessary student materials prior to the start of the classroom
- Display energy, enthusiasm and the ability to engage participants
- Engage team members in challenging and meaningful classroom trainings
- Cultivate a friendly learning environment
- Promote classroom interaction and activity; address challenges with a positive demeanor
- Solve problems quickly while multitasking
- Submit a summary of weekly classroom activities
- Clearly communicate Asbury’s Mission, Vision and expectations
- Be knowledgeable in latest Asbury technology
- Know, understand, and promote Asbury’s policies and compliance
- Serve as a role model, coach and trainer to all new and current team members
- Drive and motivate others toward providing an exceptional Guest experience
- Communicate and work with Regional Support/Directors, General Managers, and Service Managers to understand business challenges and resolve them via training
- Provide regular feedback to Leadership regarding current class attendees and program changes
- Assist all Asbury regions and dealerships
- Assist in creating and updating training materials
- Assist in other Asbury and dealership operations as requested
- Perform other related duties to benefit the mission/vision of the organization
- MUST HAVE experience as either a Service Manager or Service Advisor in the automotive retail space
- Must have a minimum of 2-4 years of previous experience in either position listed above
- Previous roles in formal automotive Service training is a plus
- Must be able to travel approximately 75% of the time
