Community Resources for Justice (CRJ) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to changing lives and strengthening communities through direct service, advocacy, and innovation. We operate across four core service lines:

  • Community Strategies (CS): Supporting adults with developmental disabilities to live independently and thrive in their communities. Providing a range of top-quality residential and non-residential programs for men and women with intellectual or developmental disabilities in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Our programs offer individual and group treatment and are geared toward promoting independence and improving life skills. Clients also receive support with job development, on-the-job coaching, and educational opportunities.
  • Reentry Services (RS): Supporting people leaving incarceration to make positive, sustainable life transitions. We firmly believe that change is possible and attainable for all that we serve. With a strict focus on outcomes, the Reentry Services Division is committed to delivering contemporary and evidence-based services to the individuals in our care.   • Family Reentry (FRE): At Family Reentry, we address the often-intertwining problems of behavioral health, domestic violence, reentry, recidivism, and risks to youth by offering evidence-based interventions to provide support and effect positive change. About This Position

CRJ wants you to join our growing team of compassionate and dependable Case Managers to support the wonderful individuals we serve! This is a full-time
, 40-hrs/week
, non-exempt position located in Boston, MA
.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Handles initial resident orientation to program and expectations, develops and monitors Individual Program Plan for residents on caseload.
  • Meets regularly with each resident to discuss progress with program requirements, personal goals, program compliance, review of finances (wages, subsistence payment, budget, savings, and any financial obligations) and discusses, reviews and helps with weekly schedules, passes, and itineraries.
  • Communicates with contracting and other relevant agencies regarding various aspects of Individual Program Plans.
  • Maintains ongoing communication with service providers and family members, and Director as relevant to the continued progress of each resident on caseload.
  • Schedules regular resident counseling sessions and supervises, sets limits, controls, and structures accountability of residents.
  • Provides timely information to appropriate personnel for coordination of services and for reporting purposes.
  • Completes all required paperwork for each resident on caseload.
  • Participates in on-call rotation according to determined schedule.
  • Attends necessary meetings, conferences, and training within CRJ and with outside providers.
Job Qualifications:
  • BS/BA from an accredited college or university in Criminal Justice, Human Service, or related field.
  • Prefer one year of case management experience.
  • Prefer experience with a correctional population, in a residential setting.
  • Must complete background check.

The pay range for this role is: 20 - 24 USD per hour.
