The BUSSW invites applicants for the Practicum Coordinator position to serve as part of our team to ensure that all MSW students receive a robust practicum education experience that is well aligned with core social work competencies and career preparedness.

• Work with MSW students across Online, On‑Campus, and Off‑Campus programs to secure required internships.
• Partner with agencies, vet potential agencies, and address problems as they arise.
• Supervise and support field advisors.
• Contribute to content development for and instruction of Practicum Education Seminars.
• Facilitate information sessions and practicum preparation seminars.
• Serve as practicum advisor to students in placement.
• Provide virtual supervision for students in agencies that do not have a social worker on staff.
• Participate in departmental and School‑wide committees.

• Master’s degree in social work (MSW).
• 5–8 years of social work experience in clinical/macro settings.
• At least 3 years of experience as a practicum education advisor/supervisor.
• Social work licensure required; LICSW or equivalent preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to anti‑oppressive social work practices.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
