Data Platform Engineer; DevOps

Overview

We're looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to design and enhance modern data solutions. Your focus will be on simplifying and accelerating the process of integrating new data and transforming it into actionable insights. In this role, you'll collaborate with stakeholders, cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that ensure data flows seamlessly and efficiently.

• Build features for data discovery, governance, ingestion, cost management, and performance.
• Explore and adopt new technologies to improve the platform.
• Design and implement a roadmap for handling both batch and real-time data using modern tools.
• Ensure high quality through automated testing and reliable cloud architecture.
• Provide production support to keep processes running smoothly.
• Work closely with business teams to turn their data needs into scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to keep the platform secure and reliable.

• 5+ years of experience with data lakes, data warehouses, and frameworks like Spark or Hadoop.
• Strong coding skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, C#).
• Hands-on experience with AWS and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.).
• Experience building APIs using frameworks like OpenAPI or FastAPI
