ResponsibilitiesDuties:
- Develop and execute software tests to identify software problems and their causes.
- Responsible for architecting and implementing automated testing frameworks to ensure high quality software products.
- Lead automation team, offer guidance, provide estimations and act as the primary point of contact for cross functional collaboration and risk management.
- Involved diving into modern tools Playwright and Git Lab, enabling the team to adopt cutting edge practices and deliver exceptional results.
- Design and code automated scripts while optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and achieve measurable ROI and KPI improvements.
- Leverage analytical thinking and identify automation opportunities and drive process enhancements that align with business goals.
- Streamline workflows and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring robust and scalable software solutions.
- Contribute to improved software quality, reduced release times and enhanced team productivity.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or a related field followed by two years of progressive postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or two years of progressive postbaccalaureate experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained.
Experience must include two years of experience in each of the following:
- 1. Automate web application testing using Selenium Web Driver, enabling efficient test execution across multiple browsers and platforms.
- 2. Execute cross-browser automation using Playwright, ensuring web applications function consistently across Chromium, Firefox, and Web Kit.
- 3. Develop and execute automated test scripts using Java, integrating with Selenium Web Driver, JUnit, and TestNG to enhance test coverage and ensure robust software quality.
- 4. Develop algorithms in Python to automate processes and tasks, leveraging libraries such as Pandas, Num Py, and multiprocessing to process large datasets, perform automated data validation, and optimize workflows.
- 5. Implement Node.js for automation workflows, integrating JavaScript-based testing frameworks such as Playwright to execute functional and regression tests efficiently.
- 6. Design and develop automation scripts in Node.js, utilizing asynchronous programming to optimize task execution, automate repetitive processes, and integrate with APIs and databases for workflow automation.
- 7. Automate testing and deployment pipelines using Git Lab CI/CD, configuring continuous integration workflows to validate software builds and ensure deployment consistency.
- 8. Manage source code repositories with Git, utilizing branching, merging, and version control strategies to track changes and facilitate team collaboration on automation projects.
- 9. Create containerized test environments using Docker, ensuring consistent test execution across multiple environments and streamlining integration testing workflows.
- 10. Conduct load and performance testing using k6 and Locust, simulating concurrent users to evaluate system performance, latency, and scalability under real-world conditions.
