Immediate need for a talented Fixed Income Software Developer
. 10‑month contract located in Boston, MA (Onsite). Job ‑05746. Pay Range: $48–$50 per hour. Employee benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, paid sick leave.

• Build, design, and develop Trading Channels & Messaging Channels interfacing with other venues and exchanges using industry-standard protocols.
• Operate mission‑critical systems and deliver day‑to‑day enhancements across front office and operations.
• Provide technical oversight around major Fixed Income E‑Commerce Project.
• Design and develop core components in Java.
• Create and implement system testing procedures.
• Collaborate and work with other teams in a platform operating model.
• Analyze and support vendor software.
• Stakeholder management.
• Project prioritization.
• Delivery & maintenance for the applications within the Equities domain.
• Provide second‑level support.
• Use AI tools like Git Lab, Windsurf, Co‑Pilot.
• Develop unit test cases for integration into CI/CD pipeline.

• 10 years of experience in software development.
• 5 years of experience working with Fixed Income products and associated electronic workflows.
• Strong proficiency with Java, SQL, and Git.
• Very good understanding of industry standard trading protocols such as FIX and FpML.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in computer science/engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with data standards & data modelling.
• Proficiency with text‑based formats like XML & JSON.
• Strong proficiency with messaging frameworks – MQ / Kafka.
• Proficiency with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Integration.
• Familiarity with testing patterns and Dev Ops.
• Familiarity with cloud/containerization.
• Comfortable in Windows and Linux environments.
