Software Engineering Manager

Our client, a growing and innovative SaaS organization, is seeking a Software Development Manager to lead the development and delivery of both existing and new software solutions across multiple functional and technology areas. This individual will play a critical leadership role in driving product quality, team performance, technical direction, and overall customer experience.

The ideal candidate is a hands‑on technical leader who enjoys mentoring engineering teams, collaborating cross‑functionally, and helping build scalable, high‑quality software in a fast‑paced environment.

• Lead the day‑to‑day operations of software development teams, including both Software Engineers and QA professionals
• Drive the successful delivery of high‑quality, scalable software solutions while maintaining strong engineering standards
• Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering leadership to define product strategy, prioritize initiatives, and build short‑ and long‑term technology roadmaps
• Mentor and develop engineers by fostering technical growth, encouraging collaboration, and empowering team members to make informed decisions
• Ensure business and technical requirements are clearly defined, understood, and effectively executed
• Translate complex technical concepts and ideas into actionable direction for the team
• Balance team workload and priorities to prevent over commitment while maintaining delivery expectations
• Communicate project priorities, development progress, risks, and team challenges to stakeholders and leadership in a proactive and transparent manner
• Promote a collaborative, innovative, and accountable engineering culture

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; equivalent practical experience will also be considered
• 8+ years of hands‑on software development experience with .NET / C#
• 5+ years of experience managing and leading software development teams
• Demonstrated success leading high‑performing engineering teams of approximately 4–10 developers through the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, development, deployment, and production support
• Strong technical background with the ability to engage deeply in architectural discussions and technical problem solving
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Familiarity with modern AI‑assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, Git Hub Copilot, or similar technologies
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
