Software Engineer (Full-Stack / Backend-Leaning) – AI x Healthcare | NYC / Boston (Hybrid)
We’re working with an ambitious, fast-growing Health Tech company redefining how humans and AI collaborate in clinical care. They’re building a next-generation platform that enhances patient outcomes while improving physician efficiency and they’re looking for a Software Engineer to help shape the future of this product from the ground up.
This is a high-impact, zero-to-one role with significant ownership across product and engineering.
The RoleYou’ll work across the stack to build and scale an AI-powered care delivery platform used by patients, clinicians, and enterprise healthcare partners. This includes developing new features, scaling backend infrastructure, and integrating with complex healthcare systems.
You’ll collaborate closely with product, clinical, and commercial teams while helping define the engineering culture and architecture as the company scales.
What You’ll Do- Build and ship net-new product features across web and mobile applications
- Develop patient-facing experiences that drive engagement and retention
- Scale backend systems with a strong focus on reliability and data integrity
- Improve physician-facing tools and integrate AI capabilities into clinical workflows
- Build integrations with enterprise healthcare systems (EMR, claims, HIE data)
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Proven experience building products from zero to one in fast-paced environments
- Track record of shipping net-new features/products in production
- Strong proficiency in Type Script (backend-leaning preferred)
- Solid fundamentals across the stack (frontend + backend + data)
- Experience working in startups or building new teams/products
