This super progressive FINANCIAL SERVICES firm is growing their engineering team and is looking for highly motivated Senior Java Engineers that use the latest, greatest Gen Ai-enabled development tools like Git Hub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Amazon Q, Qodo, Git Guardian, Snyk, Codex, Jet Brains, Deep Code, Tabnine, Codium Ai, Sonar Qube.

• If you do NOT use Ai-enabled development tools on a regular basis - please DO NOT APPLY.
• Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend services using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to review and implement business requirements.
• Stay current with evolving industry and technical trends, including AI-assisted development tools, to ensure systems and team are of the highest caliber.

• MUST be PASSIONATE about using Ai-tooling and demonstrate great curiosity and advanced skills regularly using GenAI-assisted development tools (like Git Hub Copilot, Claude Code, etc.). They are seeking someone that has an "exploratory relationship" with and a proactive engagement with using Ai that is actively "pushing the boundaries" of what the technology can do for them. Other Ai tools may include the following:
  Cursor, Amazon Q, Qodo, Git Guardian, Snyk, Codex, Jet Brains, Deep Code, Tabnine, Codium Ai, or Sonar Qube.
• Be prepared to show a Git Hub explanation of an unconventional or 'out of the box' route you took in order to utilize an Ai-enabled development tool to better complete a task or provide a better solution.
• MUST HAVE Technical degree is required along with 7+ years of Java and J2EE development experience.
• Strong preference for Java Engineers working on real-time mission-critical FINANCIAL SERVICES and investment trading platforms. This job will be serving Financial Services/Investment Banking/Stock Trading so familiarity with terms like IBOR (Investment Book of Record), stock trading compliance, OTC investment workflows, Dev Sec Ops  in SDLC, investment portfolio management tracking, and integrated analytics would be a big plus.
• Strong experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Solid understanding of multi-threaded applications and high-performance systems.
• Experience developing and deploying RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Web Sockets, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines (especially using Jenkins).
• Strong analysis, design, and modeling skills, and familiarity with testing methodologies like Apache JMeter are a plus.
• MUST BE a great communicator with ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment supporting a business-critical production environment.
• Must work onsite 5 days a week in Boston, MA.
