Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mule Soft Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Mule Soft technologies, API‑led connectivity, and cloud‑based deployment patterns, with a focus on delivering high‑quality, secure, and performant APIs.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain Mule Soft integrations and APIs using Mule 4 and Data Weave, aligned with API‑led connectivity principles
- Develop APIs and integration flows that meet non‑functional requirements such as performance, scalability, and security
- Deploy and support Mule Soft applications on Cloud Hub 2.0 and Runtime Fabric, including configuration management, scaling, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with cloud and platform teams to ensure deployments align with AWS and EKS standards (networking, security, monitoring, and operations)
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and release processes to promote builds across environments with traceability and quality controls
- Establish and enforce integration best practices, including error handling, logging, correlation, retries, circuit breakers, and API policy management
- Perform root cause analysis for production incidents and create runbooks, dashboards, and alerts to improve operational excellence
- 3+ years of experience building integrations using Mule 4 and Data Weave 2.0
- Strong experience in designing and delivering API‑led connectivity architectures
- Hands‑on experience with Anypoint Studio, Exchange, API Manager, and Anypoint Monitoring
- Proficiency in API specifications using RAML and/or OAS (OpenAPI)
- Experience deploying applications in production using Cloud Hub 2.0 and Mule Soft Runtime Fabric (RTF)
- Experience with containerized Mule applications, runtime properties, scaling strategies, and deployment promotion patterns
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs, interface contracts, and implementation plans
- Experience with AWS networking patterns and cloud security best practices
- Experience integrating Mule Soft solutions with AWS services
- Familiarity with Kubernetes tooling (Helm, kubectl) and concepts such as ingress controllers and service mesh
- Experience with automated testing using MUnit
- Knowledge of API governance, including naming/versioning standards and policy enforcement
